Concept:
- Once a month, a “big question” is produced and given to our panel of participants, all of whom have been hand selected to provide their insights. Each person has until the end of the month to log their response to the question and should feel free to comment on the responses of others. The ownership for the question will rotate around, offering variety in the subject and depth. What’s the point? I expect this to be mentally stimulating, forcing deep thought and discussion that wouldn’t happen naturally. Some questions will suck but most will be fascinating. Good people, good writing, and better reading!
Mission:
- A trusted forum that forces thoughtful exploration of big questions from diverse perspectives. The process of thinking, writing, and reading about these questions is the “value” the project participants. There is no end game.
Panel:
- The panel of participants was selected with great intention. While I would have liked to establish more diversity, we have a decent cross section of age, geography, employment, political stance, gender, race, etc. Some of you know each other, while others don’t, but the common thread is that I’ve spent time with all of you. I also thought you were someone that would most likely embrace the concept. Read the bios below and send me your final decision to participate. If you opt out, you’re missing out.

- You have to participate
- No personal attacks
- All responses must be given thoughtful consideration
- Try to avoid writing for viewership/readership. No one cares.
- No sharing responses from the panel without prior written authorization from the author
If you choose to opt out, give a notice and offer a referral
